...and it went really well! Some of you may have read the ceremony we used that I posted as I was really worried about it (we did it ourselves rather than paying someone a small fortune!). I needn't have worried, it was lovely and everyone commented how nice the words were etc :-)

Ella was really well behaved although she was understandably quite clingy to me and my mum (dh was hardly seen as he was outside a lot of the time and did f all to help!) which apparently didn't go down too well with dh's family but what were we supposed to do -pass her around loads and let her get all upset?!?

Despite that though (which I didn't even know was an issue until afterwards when dh told me - if he'd been inside more he could have made sure that she got to spend more time with his family!) it was really lovely and loads of family and friends turned up.

Even better, I made loads of mini cupcakes as I'm thinking of starting my own business and they ALL got eaten and I got loads of lovely comments!

Sorry for the rambling post but wanted to share! :-)

Glad it went well hun. Men don't think do they? lol

We've got Oscars party on the 17 July and I'm a bit worried about him being passed around.

He's going through the clingy fussy phase right now and yesterday we were at my mums bbq and my brother and his family were there who Oscar hadn't met yet and he went nuts crying when my niece was holding him and they were all fussing over him. Why oh why when a baby is crying hysterically do ppl not want to pass them back to their mummy? They are clearly crying for mum or dad because everyone is in their face and it must be a bit overwhelming!!!

xxxxxxx
