ECG - Baby heart trace :)

Had an appointment the other day with my consultant at the hospital, I was 27+3 weeks pregnant she put me on the ECG monitor to do a heart trace and movements of baby (first time of being on one) witch were very good. My consultant is giving me appointments every 2 weeks from now. Will she put me on the ECG monitor everytime? Also will she put me on one when i go in hospital ready to have my baby?

I think you mean a CTG? A cardiotocograph machine is what we use to do that.
If you’re considered high risk then they might want to put you one one again, and during labour.

What do you mean ‘Considered high rish’ ?

In my previous pregnacy i had a still birth so would they moniter me more using a CTG ?

Yeah. R u the person whos a midwife or something. I keep getting arreaapy sharp pains and tighting in my lower belly (just above my privates) haf them last night and abit today? Can u help me

It sounds like it could be bit of pelvic pain and ligaments but I would def call your midwife just in case. She will know best as she knows your case and can advise and they will be working over holiday period. Sure nothing to worry about but best to get professional advice if you are concerned or in pain x
