on april fools day my little joker decided to stop all movements- and as soon as we got in the bugger went into overdrive so much it was almost impossible for the midwife to use a doppler as he kept kicking it- so she gave up and put the one with a band around my tummy and (mostly successfully) managed to monitor his via ECG

anyway for anyone who is interested- I put a sticky note over my personal info and scanned both sides of the chart they gave me xxxxx

I'm afraid max quality isn't great on here so if anyone wants a higher quality one emailed just pm me xxxxxxx

I hope this helps

looks pretty and interesting!
Guessing they dont tell you what average amounts of kicking means... e.g. 5 lots of 10 kicks is the norm?

My midwife said just to use common sense (she then had to explain what that was to me lol!)

so if you feel one move or a couple at one time- that is one incident of movement whereas if you feel continuous movement for a few hours then you've had your 10 movements- she also said its instinctual too- so you know as mum what is normal and not for your baby- for example I don't panic if i haven't felt movement for a few hours in the morning as he's not that active first thing but more so in the evening......

please don't take my word as medical advice, just repeating the information given to me in the hope it helps :) xxx

I have to admit I go by more times of the day for movement than actual kicks, like I know if I lay on my back in bed in the evening he wil kick right royally until I turn over.

I know he also is more active when I am sat up straight at work so anytime between 9 - 5.

The last time I worried about movement as well and went to get monitored he played football with the strap on monitor little sod lol, he is however my little sod and wouldn;t change him for the world lol...

They sure know how to panic us though xxxx
