Just been looking at baby things on ebay. Reckon I can pick up some good stuff cheap. What bargains have you had from there?

I was just looking on there too!

I was thinking that some of the stuff like bouncer chairs are a reasonable price but by the time you've paid the postage its not such a bargain after all!

We bought our playnest from there 15 quid almost brand new!

I was a very happy bunny when that arrived. But ive been banned from ebaying by my OH as ive bought WAY to much off there. We've had stuff arriving everyday so far lol ...ops

I'm trying to stay away from ebay, spent a blooming fortune on it!

Got Nathan's playmat for £8.30. Also got 10 tongue bars for 1p and free postage.

Trying to keep off ebay though

When I was expectin noah I wrote a list of things I wanted, like moses asket, ouncy chair, floor ym, cot moile etc and pried up all the ones I wanted from mothercare etc. Then I hunted for them all on ebay so I could compare prices and see what barins I could get. I bought most of on ebay and saved myself several hundered quid in all!

i am an ebay addict... :talkhand: i hold my hand up...

ive had loadsssssss of bargains...

like couple of days ago i got:

7 pairs of shoes brand new
a brand new mackays gilet
gorgeous red dress
baby romper suit
hat and bootee set

all for baby ^^

incl postage for 10.08!!!!!!!!

they all still had tags and the retail RRP's was well over 50

one of my best bargains was this tho:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0038921849

AND she refunded £5 on the postage as she overcharged... what a bargain eh ;)

and then you went and got me hooked :shakehead:
There are some right good bargains on there though

ebay is the best.
When I was on long term sick the other year, I started selling everything in the house.
More recently, we are clearing out to get space for baby, so far making £250+ I also got some new with tag maternity trousers for £1.50 and as new maternity jeans for £3 the other day.
Bargain.
Love it, love it, love it.

Kayzee is the BEST at picking up Ebay bargains, she has GOT loads of baby things for her little girl!!

She got like 50 or so items of clothing for 1p the other day, I was astounded, dunno how she does it!

Just gotta be on at the right time I reckon!

Got my pram/car seat for £150 cheaper than we had seen it in John Lewis. Made up with it xx

I'm a big ebay freak

I never brought any thing for lily from ebay when I was pregnant.

But when she was reaching 3 months I needed some new clothes for her so looked on ebay I found a bundle starting bid 99p and £8 P+P watched it, and won and no one else bidded either.

It look a quite afew bits but I wasn't sure what condition they would be so was thinking maybe a few good conditioned out fits, heres what I got:-

8 babygrows
8 Vests
2 skirts
2 Nighttime babygrows
1 Snowsuit
2 Dresses
3 Pairs Trousers
7 Tops
4 Pairs Tights

Most of it was next stuff and ALL in perfect condition, no marks it all looked new and smelt great too. I couldn't have been more pleased she got a whole new wardrobe for a total £8.99.

Ive bought and sold loads of stuff on ebay but I dont like things second hand cause im a bit weird like that.

I try not to buy electronics second hand but if its a really bargin and is pretty much like new I will risk it but I like to be the first to have my hands on someting then I know where its been and what its been up to. Regarding clothes/shoes, there is no way I would by second hand, I dont know why, i just like those things to be new! You can get loads of new clothes though for bargin prices!!

well..if you didnt sit there sending me links to them i wouldnt notice them! :talkhand:
I mean..its not like i sit browsing around ebay all day :shakehead: :fib:

Wow Lozzi, how many clothes?! Your lil one will have a new outfit for every day!

I have to say I think the worst time for bidding is at the weekend or on a Sunday! If you can get things that end late in the evening or early morning, I reckon you're onto a winner!

Also, why do people bid against each other so much before the auction end? This encourages the price to go up more when you could just wait til nearer the end time! :wall: Mind you, it's great if you're the seller lol!

my pram was rrp at 400quid cos it was travel system - i got the whole lot for £50!!! :cheer: :cheer: yay me, love that pram and its soooo pretty!!

you should see how many pairs of little shoes lozzi has got off ebay.. :rotfl: :rotfl:
