Ebay Question - Did I do it right/do I do anything else?

Yeah sounds like the seller is getting someone to bid for him to up the bids to get a higher (cheeky sod) i would email him and say i was outbid on your item and someone else would of won it so brought item elsewhere so can u please cancel this. Its not your fault he should of given you a second chance offer not put u as winner without your say so. You done right thing reporting him. Let me know how ya get on.

I would report them to ebay straight away. Thats very suspicious bidding activity.

Yep it's called shill bidding and it's a huge no-no. Personally I wouldn't get into communication with the seller and if you get a strike appeal it on the basis that the seller was bidding up the item using another account.

Any chance you can post the item number or listing? If more folk report it then the seller is more likely to get chucked off.

I thought sellers could no longer leave negative feedback

I would leave negative feedback urging others not to use her.

defo shill bidding, They cant leave negative feedback but I think they can leave shitty comments!
be polite in your feedback but honest, Im not sure but I prob would write something like::
I won this item after seller withdrewhighest bidder , but by which time I had brought elsewere, please review all feedback on sellers account!
and hope people would look into it and see wha shes been playinh at! and why she withdrew!

Yeah I don't think they are allowed to leave neg feedback as such but don't they have a right to reply when a buyer leaves them neg feedback so it would show up under my feedback as a response from them.

She has relisted several of her cancelled listings but instead of auctions she has put them up as Buy It Now listings. She has relisted the item I was bidding for as a BIN listing and is asking 22.00 for it with 14.00p&p. It's a 5in1 baby rocker/ride on but Mothercare is selling the newer 7in1 version for 39.99 so for only 4.00 more you get a better brand new item.

Now all I need to do is think how to word my feedback! Any suggestions lol...

A big fat negative that says "Seller used 2nd account to bid up price of item - steer clear". Don't mention ebay investigations in the feedback because she could have that removed.

If they leave a positive for you with negative comments (if you know what I mean) you can appeal to have it removed as they aren't allowed to do that either. Also, if they do a follow up to your negative you can write a second comment underneath it.

£14 P&P seems really excessive so I'd be tempted to report their listing for excessive postage charges/fee evasion

Just had a message from the seller - she's gotta be having a laugh surely.....

"i cannot accept your offer as it has cost me 22 items listed that i have been charged for and can not relist untill after xmas but will Not be refunded for and i needed that money for my sons christmas presants so in a way yes it has bankrupt from the way you communicated this situation. regaurdless im sure you want posative feedback the same way that i do, so if you can find some kindness and leave me posative feedback asap i will do the same for you"

I have sent this back.. as you can see I have no time for guilt trips or blackmail...

Oh hello... it wasn't me that bumped up my prices by shill bidding. If you have been penalised by Ebay then I can only assume that they have come to the conclusion that something wasn't right with your auctions. I'm sorry you feel my morals have caused your family to only have bread and water this Xmas, perhaps I can post you up a turkey sandwich on Boxing Day?
You will get appropriate feedback and if my feedback is unfair contact Ebay as I will if your feedback is unfair. Thankyou.

Something tells me she's not a happy bunny :rotfl:

Something also tells me she is not very good with the English language!!! :) I hate screw overs! Serves her right!

She's left it a bit late in the day to buy her sons xmas presents  What a guilt trip, I can see your bovvered lol!

Well hunny all I can add is that the toy is actually fabulous (when you get the other one!) Eefie loves his one to bits and is always on it! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yaDxcq7x65I

They wouldn't have removed the items from her listings if they didn't think she was up to something. Well spotted to notice her shill bidding  .

:rotfl: :rotfl: at the turkey snadwich!

let us know if she replies to that!

I just saw that... is it the bidder whose ID starts "den"? Bought the buggy 3 times? Notice that your seller has bought a car seat from them too? Hmmm. Odd. They also previously bought the TV that the seller is selling again.

I am soooooooo going to report them.

hmmm den likes to buy a lot of the same stuff!! also aint it a bit weird they live in the same town?
