Hi ladies I went into labour naturally last time at 38 weeks. For women who went into labour before due date, was it the same for your second or did you go over?

Stalking. .....My first was 38+2 and I'm 38+4 with my second now. Already feel like baby is overdue! I don't mind waiting but I don't want to force induction.... if it comes to that- so will fight that off if baby is happy and healthy!

My SIL was early with both of hers.

Although they say every pregnancy is different, I think there is a pattern to it all. My sister has 5 and they're all late babies.

A friend of mine had her first baby at 33 + 6! When she had her second she had him at 40 weeks.

I've been told with going over with my first it's likely to happen again with this one, so I always assumed it was the same with being early too.

My friend had her 1st at 36 week and her second at 42! Lol!

I went into labour at 35 weeks with my first and 39 weeks with my second I'm currently 31 weeks with twins and already been in hospital twice with contractions and had a show so we will see xx

SIL had her first at 38 weeks (day after she went on maternity leave !!)

She had her second a week late and her third was just a few days after EDD.

I don't think there is a correlation personally between how early and late babies were - provided they were after 37w.

One premature labour does however put you at risk of being premature again. You would automatically be a "high risk" pregnancy at my hospital if you had baby at 36w 6d or earlier.

X
