early thinking when to wean??

know its a bit advanced but just wondered when to wean the boys? iv heard 4 months 6 months and whenever just wondered when and how to start!! they change things so often! x

I personally think 6 months esp if they were prem. Their tummies, kidneys and intestines all need time to develop properly. Lots of people mistake the four month growth spurt as being ready as they get so hungry but they just need more milk for a week or so, waking in the night is also normal so often confuses people esp if their baby had been sleeping through. Food is fun before one! So main source of nutrition should be milk.
