Early scans

Hi guys, I'm contemplating having a private early scan just out of curiosity and also to get some scan pics so that when we tell the parents we can give them a scan pic.

Do you generally have to have to have a problem to have an early scan or have suffered losses before, or can anyone go for one really?

i had one mmc and wasn't able to get an NHS early scan but anyone can get one privately, you literally just phone the clinic and book one, no need for a referal or anything. It was the best thing we did! we wait til 8 weeks and saw a wonderful heartbeat but i think you can see it earlier if you go at 7 weeks.

Google private ultrasound companies. There will be one in your area. Mine was £65 but price depends on where you live x
