Early scan on Monday - what can I expect to see?

Hi everyone!

I have an early scan on Monday that I have paid for privately (I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks last Summer so wanted some reassurance this time round that everything is ok).

Can you please let me know what I can expect to see on Monday? And is it likely to be an internal scan at 9 weeks or a tummy scan?

I would think it would be a tummy scan at 9 weeks...... You should by now have good heartbeat and see the baby in the womb.

I had one on Tuesday and I'm 9 weeks. It was a tummy scan, we saw little baby with tiny arm and leg buds, it wiggled a little bit and we could see the heartbeat.

Hi ya I thought I was ten weeks at my epu scan, they did it from outside(but would only do an external from 10 + weeks) and could see baby but I was only 9 weeks and they did an internal as clearer piccy. I've attached my 9 week scan pic so u can see the kinda piccy to expect!! good luck! X
