due date!

Today is my due date (ticker is wrong) and no sign of baby! Had hospital appointment today and baby is head down etc back up this day week for a sweep if I don't go on my own. Really hope I do go between now and then because even the thought of havin to wait another week is awful! anyone else goin through the same? Babys can be so stubborn do they not realises the sacrafices we made, cutting out alcohol, putting on weight, being hormonal, getting stretch marks, being sore and uncomfortable, lack of sleep to mention a few things, the least they could do is come on time! Lol xxxx

Make sure and rest as much as possible and try and take your mind off labour, that's only advice I can think of lol I was convinced I would go overdue and was not prepared for going early, but my waters burst at 38+5. I think the more you wait for it to happen, the less likely!

It's crap though the fact you be countin down the days til your due date, even though I knew I wouldn't have went today but knowing that I could be waitin upto another 2weeks worries me for my mental health lol. But as you said hopefully baby doesn't have me waiting too long or I'll be havin strict words once it decides to make an apperance! Lol xxxx

I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow but I'm going for a sweep in the afternoon so hopefully that does something, if not my induction date is next wednesday...x

Hopefully we're not kept waiting too long! I wouldn't mind as such if my body would give me a decent nights sleep but no lying here probably tossing and turning til about 3 or 4 then a very unsettled sleep til I wake at around 11. Oh the joys!

Aw hun yeah I've been like that!! Awful sleep, until last night.....I can't believe I only just woke up!! And only cos I had a text.I usually get up.at 7 when oh leaves as at 7 as I'm so uncomfy, but I slept through! Wonder wether baby let ne sleep so I'm ready.... Wishful thinking I know lol

deffo know what you are going through lol, its my due date tomo but im not holding my hopes up that hes gonna come because I think hes quite happy in there! got a sweep next sat but really dont want to wait that long xx

Lol as long as I go within the next week I'll be happy enough! Can't see it happenin really though, have only had the odd pain here and there and when I say pain its just cramps that aren't really that sore but you know they're there sort of thing, and have had no music plug or show yet. Wish it could be against the law to go over your due date lol. xxxx

right ladies i didnt have any cramps for a week before having my daughter all i had we light cramps midday later that evening my plug stayed til i was in hosiptal so did my waters and the worse contractions. so its not hopeless you might go into labour you never no you might be the same it just comes on x x x

Tabbi that makes me feel better about it all. just the not knowing is annoyin like it could be tonight, Sunday, next Wednesday or not til the followin week lol. Xxx

My waters broke at 7am and by 11am I was 9cm!! By 4 pm I had my wee boy. I had no signs I was in labour before that, just like a dull ache round the bottom of my bum, but a constant pain, not contractions. xx
