after giving birth, what does your downstairs department look like?
does it look the same? or all stretched and loose?

I didnt dare look, still havnt but it doesnt feel different except where I tore but that just feels like scar tissue. When we got 'down to it' again it was a bit tighter at first because of the stitches but it feels nearly back to normal now

Erm... I don't think mine looks any different, and I had over 20 stitches in mine.. I can still feel a little raised scar from where I had the episiotomy, but it still looks wrinkly and ugly as it has always done...

I wouldn't worry about it anyways... my mum said, if a man can't even notice when you've had your hair dyed and cut short....he's never going to notice down there in the throws of passion, he'll be more worried about getting his end away . :rotfl:

it didnt look anywhere near as bad as i thought it would. i had a huge bruise on my bum and a couple of little cuts, and 2 b honest at first it did look a bit gapey. (it felt gapey too- like putting ur finger into someones mouth who is asleep!) but it looks normal now.

come on kim.. u dont think its gonna be like.. normal after a babys head comes out of it do u? course its gonna be stretched straight after.. u cant do nething till after u stopped bleeding neway.. so dont worry bout what its gonna look like right away...it will go bk.. u wont be all loose n baggy down there :)

i dont mean straight away, i meant afterwards... like months

Think unpacked kebab.........

I jest, it's all fine :D

I daren't look for a long time but that was because I had a forceps delivery and an episiotimy, but I can thankfully say all looks exactly the same now and fully functional with no pee leakage either :D

hmmm never looked before ..never mind after..should i ????? :rotfl:

to be honest you don't give a sh*^ what down there looks like for about 4 months anyway lol
it was the last thing on my mind!

however everything does eventually go back to normal at some point

lol.... ok.. b4 u have a baby ur lips r probably more in than after.. they may poke out a little after 'healing or rather time to go bk' but the more sex u have the tighter u get.. so..as long as u use contraception and u have stopped bleeding go for it lol...

Beware of the dreaded 'prolapse' ie when your muscles have 'pushed' forward and stay there...
Although I'm sure 24 hours a day of Pelvic floor exercises could get rid of it .!!!

But, honestly, I don't think what it looks like should be the issue here- shouldnt it be ' what does it FEEL like ( ie for your partner)'

Exits room swiftly....
