I'm sure our parents didn't avaoid all this stuff and we all turned out okay

Well my mum smoked about 40 a day and had 5 healthy kids. Not advocating smoking while pregnant or anything but there something to be said about what our parents did...

I'm quite lucky that I'm veggie, don't like cheese and don't drink anyway so I haven't really had to give up that much  Although I do want a Star Bar and am still unsure about the whole peanuts thing...

HAVE THE STAR BAR!!!!!! you know you want to, and i seriously doubt the nuts in one will harm baby.

My friends mum smoked and drank with her and her sister and they are both perfectly healthy, however, its not something i will risk, we know about featal alcohol syndrome, and i've never smoked anyway so its not a problem for me

Haha - I might have one at some point in the week :D

I think alcohol and ciggies are no-brainers for me. I don't do either anyway, haven't drank for about 4 years now but I think it's proven that both are not only bad for unborn children but adults too.

Someone told me today that their friend was told not to eat bannanas when pregnant. I'm sure some doctors just say things for a laugh!

I mean, I wouldnt let my child have a mobile as I dont honestly think it is right but using the phone while pregnant??

OMG!!! very very old mobile phones, maybe, but new ones uh i dont think so!! They're spent years making sure mobile phones dont damage you etc, plus if its gonna damage my baby whos in my belly surely its gonna damage me too!!!

Yes too many of those waves can affect things, for example the room full of the equipment, you arnt meant to be in for long and men who work in them can apparently only concieve girls. But these are HUGE amounts of it not one little mobile

Its a nightmare, yesterday we went to the beach for the day and went to a lovely seafood restaurant, couldnt have most things on the menu, we then bought fabulous desserts to eat after dinner, and when I got I got home realised I had bought myself a chocolate mousse, made with raw egg whites...........so couldnt eat that either :(

I love hot baths - now a big NO NO

On a good point it has made me quit smoking, which is a definite positive!!!
