Doppling

Ive just bought a doppler on ebay (angel sounds)

I know as im 11 weeks (TODAY!!!! YAAAY!) it might be a little too early to find anything but i want to try!

any advice on how to get best results at this stage? or should i not even try until my uterus has popped up?

I got one of them from ebay too... I couldn't find the HB at first and I was around 13 weeks before I got a result... Use some sort of conducting gel... If you haven't been sent any with your doppler, use johnstons baby oil gel, that works well..

Then when you are looking for a HB try very low down almost on your pelvic bone... I always find the HB down there on the left, even now, and I'm 22 weeks.

Good luck, but don't panic if you don't find it... The angel sounds says from 12 weeks and your only 11 atm.. And even then, at 12 weeks you might not get it...

Thanks...I'm expecting not to find anything yet so i wont panic. I have my scan in 2 weeks anyway, but if i do manage to hear a heartbeat earlier ,I'll feel safe enough to tell our boss and start sussing out what we can do with our future work-wise!
