Dopplers???

How soon can you hear babys hb with a Doppler? Anyone recommend a brand? xxx

Hi bebe is like the one the midwife uses i think... they are good. I got an Angel sounds one had good reviews and heard alot of people finding the heartbeat really early on but with me i never found it until 17 week...maybe that was because at my 16 week check up the baby was lying right into my back.xxx

Oh and whatever you do don't get a Summer one!!! I couldn't even pick up my own heartbeat!

I bought an angel sounds too and didn't pick up the heartbeat till week 17-18, I wouldn't try it before though because people can get worried and start to fret if the HB isn't picked up straight away and they are trying far too early x

Thanks girls, tbh I did think it would be loads earlier than that so I would have been worrying. I will leave it until 20 weeks I think, otherwise I will use it too early, I wouldn't be able to help myself xxx

It's a tough one hun because as soon as it lands on your doormat you are itching to have a go and try to find it but are sadly disappointed that you can't hear anything, then the panic and worry settles in when you know fine you are trying to early lol yes you are right to wait for a bit later x

i bought an angel sounds one from amazon, it came middle of last week and i couldn't resist giving it a go straight away lol it took us about 10 minutes but we found the heart beat in the end which was so cool

when you do want one you can get it from amazon for £21

I got a angel sounds from amazon last pregnancy and loved it, sometimes it took ages to find and I had to stay patient and try not to panic. I always made a deal with myself not to worry if I couldn't find it before I used it! Think I was about 14 weeks, haven't tried yet might in a week or two x
