Does anyone find having a doppler worrying or addictive ?

im thinking of getting one but having an anterior placenta am worried i wont find a h/beat or will become obsessed using it.

im 19 weeks on monday

thanks x

I have an anterior placenta and have heard the heartbeat since about 13 weeks on my angelsounds, so you should have no issues at your stage x

ive had one for ages, not entirely sure what im hearing on it so far but i dont use it a lot and its never made me worried even when i couldnt find anything with it

I've stopped using it, I have thought about it but I feel no need to anymore! It was great tho I had an angelsounds

I don't use mine at all often now, not much call for it when you're getting kicked xx

I have one and don't use it as much only if baby is quiet for reassurance! I find it easy even with my anterior placenta although tho the swishing is always loud too which is from the placenta but also a reassuring noise cos u know it is working.

I use mine about once a week just to feel close to baby as I haven't felt any movement yet. It is also nice to involve my husband. I love mine and have only ever found it reassuring not worrying.
