Doppler arrived

This morning, so had a go, think I found babies HB just above pubic bone and to the left of my right hip, well it was the only sound around the whole area that sounded like a HB Heard a couple of whoosing noises as well, if i moved it into different areas there was silence, so do you think this was the HB I heard?

Got mine from ebay, it was an angelsounds one, it was £21 (that included P&P) think I will just use it for a few mins each day to reassure myself

the wooshing sound is normally the placenta you can hear but as you heard both then i guess you was looking in the right place i had 1 on my last pg and didnt become obsessed it was just nice to have

I decided to hire one for the minute - however, am now panicking coz used it yesterday and couldnt hear anything - only my own heartbeat

Will try again Monday, when I will be 10 weeks - thats the only prob with them, is the fear of not finding anything!

Don't worry, its really difficult hearing it that early and you need a bit of luck. My midwife couldn't find it at 13 weeks when I was pregnant with my son and everything was fine!! I also found that the more you use them the easier it gets to find it. So dont panic if you can't find it.

Oh, and at my 28week check up it took my GP almost 20 minutes to find it and he started panicing. He admitted afterwards that he found it quite stressfull .

I still can't find a heartbeat using mine. Just had it explained this week My placenta is sitting right over the front so unless you have a special one like the midwife I won't really stand a chance but everythign is fine

It is REALLY hard to find early on, I started trying at 9weeks and stressed out for over a week before I was 100% sure that I had heard it. then it was hit and miss whether I found it again, it was every other day and only at 10am LOL, but for the last week or so I have found it within 5 mins every day.

I think I have become a doppler addict - I've used it every day since I borrowed it from my friend! I know where to listen now too which makes it easier xx

I know where to find baby, it always goes back to same position but it has got wise to it and moves off everytime i try to let someone new listen, the lil monkey xxx
