Does your baby prefer to nurse one side?

Kynon is totally refusing my right boob today, I feel really lop sided. Tonight he's just been screaming at it and refusing to feed on that side. During the day he messes about on that side too. He was messing about on that side yesterday but i thought he was just being nosey, Im not so sure now though!

I know they can have a preference but didn't expect him to not want that side at all. What happens if he keeps on refusing?

^ I'm gonna try this because Lewis is sticking to my right boob a lot, not doing any harm it's just confusing cos he comes off the left one and I think he's done but he just wants to go back on the right.

He's too big now for me to manage rugby hold! Well he's feeding on the right as we speak but is half asleep so probably not realised and its dark!

This morning the right has been refused again! He even made a urgh noise! What's wrong with my right boob? Feel like I'm going to burst on this side and I'm leaking loads!

I dunno if this would help but when Tyler's being fussy about me feeding him I do it laying down and then he's fine. I know it's not hugely practical but might give you some relief.

Funny you should say expressing and lying down just done both! He cried at right side again lying down but i had expressed 4 oz so maybe why. He's currently happily feeding on left again!

Ozzy always preferred my left, and we both hated the right lol The righ always hurt, the whole year I fed him it hurt, it would be fine for a few mins and then start to burn really badly like he was biting or gnawing it, which he never was! It used to be better if I fed him laying down on the right boob. He only ever used to feed 10-15 mins on teh right, but the left could be latched for hours. My let boob was alot bigger lol, they did level out in the end but the left did stay slightly bigger but couldn't tell with bra and clothes on thank god! They are now pretty much the same again since stopping nursing him at 1 years old!

I hope this next LO can latch on teh right better, but I think the problem is more mine, I just couldn't get the hold right more than anything! But this time will perserve and not let my boobs get wonky again lol

He's just refused the right again, sure it's worse when he's grumpy and tired, like he can't even be bothered with that side! Funny you should say your right was sore Maria as my right is sore a lot too!
