I just wondered, as I know you can be at home for hours and hours in early labour, so does the baby still move as they normally would? Does it happen inbetween the pain? Confused!! :? :? :? :? :?

I remember Kieran moving while I was in labour and having strong contractions, he even got the hiccups at one point

Don't remember Nathan moving though

My babies all kicked through labour. My mum was there for all of them, along with OH, and she even commented on it when I had my first daughter as she was kicking so hard my belly was moving and she looked like she was trying to swim out! Bizarre! But I don't know if this is typical, I only know what my experience was.

Yes - my belly wriggled so much during my labours that was as though an alien was about to burst out of me lol

I dont evan know!! lol i think i vaguely remember her moving at one point x

Awwww thanks for your replies ladies    I'm getting so nervous now!

Angel didn't but my labour was so quick. My sister said the mw commented on her son as he was still kicking on the way out!

the day before i gave birth melissa moved LOADS in the morning, me and my boyf were watching the lumps move and undulate in my tummy- he looked horrified! lol it was a bit like something off an aliens movie haha

during actual labour i dont recall her moving at all even between pains. she mightve but i didnt notice if she did :)

I was in early labour for 4 days and everytime i spoke to the midwife they wanted to check i'd felt her moving - but when the contractions got stronger and everything kicked off properly i don't think i felt her much!

I don't remember Tia moving... But lil miss made regular movements.. In fact at one point she rolled over to the side and off my cervix and I midwife had to push her back to the centre so that I could push her down and out.. I couldn't feel the urge to push unless the midwife did this...

Aimee was very active during my pregnancy and it was no different in labour.

i onyl gave birth 8 weeks ago and i really cant remember if he moved during labour or not  :?
