I have an interview tomorrow for a Home Carer post, its very short notice, they only rang me today. I've been doing a bit of research on the internet and I know what to expect for the actual job, but I'm not sure what questions to expect at the interview tomorrow or what to prepare for?! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance x

I used to be a case manager and interview for carers.

I wouldn't worry, they're unlikely to be asking anything too difficult. Questions like why do you want to work as a carer, what experience you have of caring (don't worry if it isn't paid care work, if you have looked after a relative or even your children this is relevant). They might ask "what would you do if...?" scenario type questions, but what exactly would depend on what type of care job/client it is.

A lot of it is likely to be down to personality and how you present. So go smart (tidy is more important than a posh suit) and be polite and interested (which I'm sure you would be anyway!)

Good luck xx
