Just wondering if anyone has a Graco carseat base ?

What do you think of it ?
How well does it fit ?
What cars do you know it fits in ?

Thanks

JP

Hi, yes I have one and it fits well in my Megane. It also fits into a Clio and Corsa and I've had no trouble with it. It's the only part of my travel system that I use - I hate the rest of it

yes we got one (well, we did have one- now we got the next stage as millie's 20lbs now)

thought it was great- much better than fannying around threading all the straps which u have to do without it. it fits really well (ours is a vauxhall astra)

only thing was, we had it in the middle at first, and altho it wasnt a problem when my boyf was driving as he's 6'4" and has the driver seat right back, when I was driving i had the seat forward as im only 5'4", so there was nothing to hold it still and it swung around a bit when i turned corners! but it was fine when we moved it to one side.

Why do you hate the rest of the travel system ? Oh and which one do you have ?

Trixipaws..... When you say ti had the carseat base in the middle, was that on a propper seatbelt or the lap belt ?

Thanks for the replys

I loved ours!! It was so sturdy, so easy to use, fantastic!! We have a Merc E220, but it also fit in Renault Megane, Ford Focus, Vauxhall Corsa & Peugeot 106 for us if ever we got a lift with someone else :D We had the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe - I never used the buggy if we were going somewhere in the car (after the first couple of months cos I got a smaller fold buggy) as it is soooooooo big & bulky!!

I still use it though if I'm going walkies anywhere as I feel that the pushchair is sturdier, it has a larger shopping basket than my little buggy and I feel like Libby is more comfy in it.

HTH :D

We had one which a friend lent us. It didn't fit my Citroen Saxo so we just kept in in OH's Mitsubishi Lancer Evo for when we used the car seat in there. I had to strap the car seat in to mine instead. It is a really great invention though if it fits your car and so much easier than strapping the car seat in all of the time. If you go in to a shop that sells it they should try it in the car for you to see if it fits before you buy it.

I hated it because it was really bulky and the plastic wheels meant that it was so uncomfy (if that makes sense) to push. I didn't really think it was suitable for a baby to lie in because there was no mattress to make it soft. I can't even remember the name of it - Liberty Elite or something like that. I would never buy a Graco product again - the wheel snapped off of it after using it (as a second pram only inthe car) for 2 months and they wouldn't fix it for me - the customer service was one of the worst I've experienced. Not everyone will agree with me - that's just my experience x

I have one and it only fits best in the front of my Citroen Xsara. It was the same in a Fiat Punto. There was too much movement in the back.

Puting the car seat in the front suits us at the moment as Adam has reflux and we are able to switch the airbag on and aff when we need it.

Me and OH have the Graco bases. It fits my old shape corsa and OHs Vectra.

We had one and it was great when we had a Mondeo but when we needed a bigger car and bought a citreon picasso it was no good. It could only go in the front seat or the middle of the back seat. It had under floor storage either side of the back seat so it couldn't be fitted there and it wasn't stable in the middle.
