Well still no AF since coming off the pill in January :-( went to the docs a while ago and had bloods taken as a result of that. As in a previous post everything came back showing regular. The only thing that is a bit on the low side is my milk producing hormone! Not that it's an issue at this stage I guess.

So I'm now getting referred to a specialist  It's gonna take probably 2-3 months for me to get an appointment.

I have to keep a diary of when I get any period-like tummy pains and/or sore boobs. She says I could still be ovulating with no AF to show for it :eh:

She says PCOS is one thing I might have although I'm far from a classic case of this as the only symptom I have linked to this condition is no AF.

My personal opinion after looking online remains post-pill amenorra.:wall2:

I suppose at least things are moving forward but it's starting to do my nut a bit now :-(

:( Is it really going to take that long for an appointment? If they think you might be ovulating would it be worth for peace of mind to get some ovulation testing strips? Or is that a silly idea?

I had the same idea myself RM. I do have some in the house, got them when I initially stopped taking my pill but I have since given up on them with no sign of any AF. I did one in Feb when I was really crampy and it came back positive so it did give me some hope and I told the Dr about this which she said was obviously a good thing but she's still concerned. I was really crampy last night to the point that I was hopeful that an AF may arrive, and had really sore boobs today for a while at work. Dunno if it's worth doing one at this stage or not :-(

I would, at least until you get an appointment - then you might be able to establish a pattern/cycle. My periods disappeared after having Depo Provera, I started taking Agnus Castus and it had me back into a regular cycle after 3 months. It might be worth doing your temperature too although I was always crap at doing that!

I thought about temps but its difficult with my working shifts. Like if I'm supposed to take them first thing in the morn, does this apply to when i'm finishing a night shift and been awake all night rather than at rest? Think it'd be a bit trick tbh.
I tried Agnus Castus but it didn't help me :-(

Of course, shifts..yes I wouldnt be sure either. I hope your appointment comes through quicker than you expect

Hey hon, hope they get u a speedy appointment and that it's something very easily sorted out xxxx

Sorry you are having a tough time hun... I do think that contraceptive pills should come with clearer warnings about the affects it can have on your periods when you stop taking them. My cycles have been all over the place since I stopped the pill, maybe worth getting a big bag of cheapy opks from Ebay and just use one each day to see if it picks up a surge in hormones.

My guess is that the doctors will give you a course of Chlomid or something to take to kick start your periods ?

Good luck hun hope you get an appt quickly x x x
