...fruit like apple, pear at 6 month? I would like to give my son as much fresh food as possible, but not sure what i need to cook and what is ok raw...

I'd cook it.

I use normal eating apples (usually red ones) and simply cook and then blend till smooth. Naturally sweet and yummy :)

It might be too hard for him just yet. You could steam it and then mash it with a fork. I'd maybe wait another month or so before giving it as finger food :)

no u dont have to.. i dont but im blending at the mo..

I gave pear as a finger food from a very early age, as it is quite soft (depends on the variety) and also banana, they only really suck it at this age, but certainly derive great pleasure from the experience  Apple i feel really needs to be cooked as it is quite hard...
