Hey, just wondering if bumps always 'drop' as baby moves down into the pelvis?
Could the bump stay the same or does the main part of the bulge have to be lower down for labour to start?? Hope this makes sense?

I see What you mean, I don't think it does always "drop" I think yOu can just go into labour where baby is lol x

My bump dropped with my son at 37 weeks.
But everyone's different & think your bump doesn't have to have dropped to go into labour :)

Yeah mine still seems fairly high up although getting loads of pressure from babys head down below. I think baby might just be quite stretched out.

Its not something the midwives seem interested in. If you're feeling pressure low down thats great - more pressure babys head puts on the cervix the better!

I'm still carrying quite high but baby is fully engaged so I don't think it really matters , I also get loads of pressure off baby but not enough for him to pop my waters unfortunatly haha

Oooh I was wondering this too, as mine is very high up, not that I'm at that stage yet, thanks
