I really would like some help from a mum who uses real nappies and maybe who has knowledge of making them. I am determined to save money and the environment, but finding it difficult to find suitable patterns, fabric etc. Absolutely any advice on materials or just using different types of real nappies would be fantastic. It is scary when you are new to it all!

I can be quite tricky to make your own nappies tbh but all youd need is a PUL fabric to make it water proof and an outer fabric, which could be fleece, minkee, cotton, anything realy. Thats for making a wrap but if you want to make a pocket nappy then you'll need an inner fabric too. Id recommend fleece as it keeps babys bottom nice and dry :)shou

Have a peek in the alternitive parenting section on here for different makes and types of nappies available :) You should be able to find a bit of info on there.
