I'm getting my bedroom painted this week. I'm going for cream walls and woodwork, so that I can change the curtains and bedding as often as I want!

I have a black metal head board on my bed and it's left marks black on the walls (and NO it's not from being norrtee in the bed......my bed hasn't seen that kinda action for a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnng time! :talkhand: )

What can I put on it to stop it marking the new cream walls? It'll have to be like something I apply or paint on to the headboard.

Any ideas?

What about some of those cork/felt/rubber etc things that you put on the bottom of chair or table legs to stop them slipping on the floor? You know which ones I mean? Round sticky ones.

Double sided sticky pads... you know the big paddded ones. Only peal one side off tho, and stick it to the headboard. So you cant see it at all, but should any 'nooooookie' occur, the wall will be saved. Apart from that I think newmum had the best ideas.
