Disgusting Facebook groups!!!!

Is anybody else getting seriously pissed off with them? There is one inparticular about baby jokes which turns my stomach every time I see it on my news feed!!!

What sort of sick messed up people can even joke about something like that?

I'm all but done with FB for this very resin, which is a massive shame because I love seeing friends and family pictures and a lot of them live far away.
The few always ruin it for the majority.
I think it's about time FB were held accountable and stopped allowing these pictures/groups x

There is a really horrible one about people with DS! It makes me so nervous that they will ever get pics of Ella and use them for nasty purposes. I hate it!

Clearly I am blessed with people who don't join such things on my FB feed.

You can pick and choose what parts of your friends feed you get to see - If you go to their FB page, click where it says "friends" (next to "message") and click settings - it allows you to pick and choose the activity of theirs that you get to see.

Unfortunately, communicating your disgust on FB has little to no effect. I'm very brutal about things like that, if it's distasteful I report the group and then avoid it.

The things with these groups is that they thrive on the comments disapproving of them. If everyone stopped commenting on their pages about how disgusting they are, they will lose interest in posting their drivel.

It's a bit like ignoring someone that is trying to wind you up. The more you ignore them, they will get bored and leave it alone.
