Ok, I need to ask ladies. Do you or have you experienced losing mucus in early pregnancy? It's not ewcm, it's thicker and more creamy/yellow looking. It's almost mucus plug looking but without the streaking of blood. I've been losing it on and off for the past week. Today I've woken up, lost about a 50p size chunk and got dull aching going on.

I know I should ring the midwife, but I'm too scared of them wanting to scan me and being told that it's a mmc again :(

Yep i got this the last two successful pregnancies! Did not get it at all with my miscarriage. It totally looks like losing a mucus plug! Completely normal!

I had this with my successful pregnancy also. It can be dislodged and replaces itself etc so don't worry unless you get any blood with it :)

Thank you ladies. I just worry as I'm only 10+4 weeks. And today my symptoms seem to have lightened up considerably. My boobs haven't been sore in a while, but i did have occasional nausea and vomiting... Today I've had nothing really, I wretched once this morning and that's about it. Then I have this dull ache in my lower abdo and back. But feeling very sorry for myself and I little pessimistic.

Although now you mention successful pregnancies I don't recall this happening in my last pregnancies that ended in mc. So there is that I suppose xx

Yes I have had weird clumpy stuff, also spotting which would be either red steaks in the thicker discharge, and also it changed to bright red blood when wiping.
I was so worried and contacted my go who scared me also and only took my blood pressure and gave me a blood test form to take to anywhere to “see if the hormones are still in my body”
The option was in the morning to go to the hospital for an emergency scan. If they could get me in. My husband must have rang 30 private scanning places to see if any were open at 5ish in he evening. We drove for 90 minutes and paid £40 and saw a midwife / sonographer at 19.15pm and we saw the baby moving and it’s heartbeat at 10 weeks. So all was fine

Xxx

I had this all through my pregnancy with Theo and I’m getting it again too this pregnancy! It makes me feel ‘wet’ and then I run to the toilet as I panic! But it’s just one of those annoying pregnancy symptoms x

Yes I've had huge blobs of snot-like mucus. The doctor said it probably is parts of the mucus plus getting dislodged. It doesn't matter though, your body replaces it. It's only a problem when you're seeing blood.
