Discharge

One of those tmi threads, but hey, we already know so much about each other right?

Ever since I was about 8 weeks, I've always had quite a lot of clear discharge/wet knickers. I used to wear a panty liner but have worn a sanitary towel since about 15 weeks.

Anyway, most of the time it has no colour or is a bit yellower, but sometimes its a sandy colour. It's not brown, but it's darker iykwim. I've had this on/off since the start so it hasn't worried me, but a few weeks ago it did and I called triage who were really unhelpful. She talked to me like it could have been old blood, which I don't think it is, and freaked me out. Asked loads of questions, said not to worry, made me worry more and I had a cry

Anyhoo, long story short, it's that colour again today. I don't know if it's cause I've over done it, or because there is more and it's a build up on the pad or just that colour sometimes.

I just wondered if anyone elses is slightly darker sometimes?

There is nothing when I wipe, its always clear.

I'm going to ask mw on Friday as have my 32 week appointment then.

Please don't scare me! Lol.

I mentioned to mw at antenatal that I'm always damp and she said if I have been all the way through it's prob just I have a lot of discharge

I've only recently had an increase in discharge but have noticed it does change ever so slightly day to day from clear to a little yellow then back to clear. I haven't noticed any darker so I'm not much help. Maybe give your mw a call tomorrow, she should give you a better answer than triage! x x x

Thanks for replying hun. I've always had cm tbh even before pregnant, but now just have a lot more. Grim!

Mine changes colour slightly....... sometimes its very clear, sometimes its white and sometimes it goes dark yellow. Id say its normal hun but just mention it to ur mw x

I've had loads since being pregnant - nice! Some days it's white, other days is a bit darker - sandy colour like you said. It didnt occur to me to worry about it really but on all my checks everything has been fine. I think if it itches you or has an odour to it then maybe pay more attention, or if it turns browny like blood etc x

Thanks mrs. It's not brown really. Sandy is the only way I can describe it

My dip sticks etc always come back ok and he's moving about. I think it just plays on my mind more when it's darker cause I wonder why.
