hi,
I have a 18wk old baby and found out 4 weeks ago that i'm pregnant again! My doctor told me that its still ok for me to do the weight watchers diet I've been on since stopping BF (at 12 wks) - she said as long as i eat sensibly its fine and if I dont lose the 1.5stone i put on last preg I'll find it hard to shift at all especially if I gain more this time...

Bit worried as i've always believed you shouldn't diet through pregnancy, but could have more problems if I'm overweight!

any advice welcomed

i would think as long as you are being sensible and eating a healthy varied diet and getting everything you need vitamin and mineral wise it should be fine hun xxxxxxx

Are you doing wieghtwatchers properly? if so you shouldnt have a problem, its points design means you can eat as much as you want as long as you dont go over your points allowance for the day, so it's encouraging you to eat the healthier foods rather then the bad ones.

If your going to meetings your points allowence will have been worked out accordingly for you and you'll get support. I think its a good idea to watch what you're eating, but bear in mind that with your being pregnant you may not lose weight as such just not put it on like you would if you wearnt watching your diet/

Yea I think that if you're not skipping any meals or depriving your body of anything, you should be just fine. :D
