Did your symptoms do this?

I already know that this is technically "normal", I am just so on edge and could use some similar stories...

I am just 4+3 and my symptoms come and go, but not even day by day - in the same day. Like this morning I woke up feeling mildly nauseated, have been having food aversions most of the day and when I walked by the Dairy Queen (do you even have those in the UK? Just a fast food place) the smell made me gag. Then like an hour later walking home by the same DQ, the same smell didn't bother me at all, I was feeling more energetic and upbeat -- like all symptoms gone within an hour?

I know it's early but as many of you know I JUST had a miscarriage (didn't even get a period before getting my BFP 27 days after heavy bleeding started) and I am just so on edge and terrified of having another one.

Best of luck to you all, hope your pregnancies are going well!

I was the same at 4 weeks. It's totally normal. Really, feeling any symptoms at 4 weeks is positive because a lot of women feel nothing that early on. I didn't have any "all day" symptoms other than sore breast until 5.5 weeks. They'd all come and go.

Im still not consistent with my symptoms.... like I was soooo hungry earlier and had a maasive lunch but I now feel nausiated and on the vergy of throwing up.... yesterday nothing. My boobs are also not super sore anymore but do feel a lot fuller.

I think any symptoms at this early stage are a good thing but I completely understand your worries. Cx

Completely normal, both the symptoms coming and going and your worries after what you've been through in the past.

Like others have said, symptoms at all this early on are a really good sign :) good luck for the rest of your pregnancy I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months xx

Thank you all so much. This morning I seem to have no symptoms at all, apart from the occasional mild pulling cramp (so I guess that's something)... I am so worried. I know you're all right, it' just so hard right now. 4+4 is so early...

Just like AF symptoms are also pregnancy symptoms, signs of miscarriage (spotting, cramping, inconsistent or loss of symptoms) are also typical and normal pregnancy symptoms so I just feel like I’m going crazy and don’t know what to think pretty much 24/7.

Yup! I am exactly the same even now. Today I feel absolutely fine, the day before yesterday a random bout of nausea at lunchtime, some extreme fatigue and then bloating seems to come around at night time and be gone by morning. I am just sort of rolling with it, who knows what is going on in there :)

It WILL get slightly easier and the fears will lessen (they don't go away completely) but my biggest hurdle was getting beyond 6 weeks because I was further along than when I lost the month previously. That seemed to help me. Just hang on in there :)

Cramping is very rarely the first sign of a miscarriage so if you get cramps and no bleeding - don't stress about it. I don't think you need to worry about a big loss of symptoms until after 6 weeks because your hormone levels are so low that symptoms really aren't consistent before then. Spotting is the scary one early on because it really can go either way, hopefully you don't get any of it x

Anyway I just came on here to reassure you by saying I felt super sick last night and much better tonight. I'm sure I'll feel crummy again soon. It's totally normal :)

It's natural for you to worry, my miscarriage was almost 9 years ago but I was terrified my whole pregnancy with DD. I feel a little more comfortable this time around but it's still on my mind.

Symptoms do come and go, it's your body's way of telling you what it's doing, and what it does/doesn't want/need.

When I had DD, I began to crave mushrooms. I'd tried mushrooms once when I was 7 and HATED them ever since! I couldn't stand them, but my body was willing me to eat them, I ate them on a pizza (lol) and absolutely loved them. It confused me, and when I Googled the properties of mushrooms I discovered they were a great source of folic acid!

It amazed me (and still amazes me) how your body can suddenly change and will you a certain way. I'd eaten half a mushroom in my entire life, how on Earth did my body KNOW to need them? It's insane!

Women's bodies are miracles! Your cravings and aversions will come and go all over the place.

Had you eaten in between not liking the smell and the smell not bothering you? :)
