Hi all

I feel like a crazy lady always posting questions on here. I'm 18dpo and still testing with the same IC tests. I only have three more to use up.

I previously had a chemical pregnancy and the line disappeared after just 2days so POAS does help my anxiety.

However, I am worried my tests are very pale for 18dpo. The last 3 days they have been roughly the same strength (possibly a little darker each day but this is hard to tell as the previous lines have dried by the time I can compare them.

Did anyone take a long time to get strong BFP and still have a healthy pregnancy.
I will attach a photo 10dpo-18dpo

Thanks x

That's really good line progression hun!

There definitely getting darker! I think some ladies levels just take longer to rise xx

Mine seemed to.take a while to get darker but they are clearly getting darker fingers crossed for you

It's looking good! Mine were a little slow to get dark.

Here are my tests from my current pregnancy to make you feel better. Ignore the green two at the top those were opks from that cycle. The orange one was 11 dpo and was an extra early test that detected down to 5, then the blue below are the standard ics that test 10 and are one a day from 11dpo onwards. You can see how slow they are to change colour. Your tests show lovely progression, plus each test can contain a different amount of dye so read differently anyway.

That looks really good to me! It only needs to be progressing :)

I only had a strong line when I found a rogue test during moving at 6 weeks my bfp was as faint as like the fourth or fifth one down from the top from yours! He's coming up to four now so was a sticky!

I personally didnt like those tests and had much darker lines earlier on with frer and even that has gone so much darker in 3 days
I dont know how to upload piccy

Thanks everyone. Hearing other stories really does help. I didn't want to start doing FRER becaucuse it would be my first and I wouldn't have anything to compare to. Maybe next week I'll buy them if I still feel anxious.

I have been taking pics exactly 5 minutes after (3mins for the Lloyds ER) to compare the immediate results and rule out any drying up. I think I feel better after comparing these. They look a little darker each day?

Although the Lloyds ones I completed at 11, 12, 13, 15 & 19 dpo so I expected a bigger increase between the last two sticks.

I keep telling myself darker is darker but I think I'll feel much better in about a week.

I will add the photos with the latest result at the bottom.

Fingers crossed everything sorts itself out x

Thank you for sharing your photo, it does help put me at ease. I almost wish I never started looking online to check my results because comparing with the majority doesn't realaly help. Every pregnancy is different. Last time my line disappeared in 24hours so as long as there is a line, I'll try to stay calm.

Massive congratulations on your pregnancy! X

You are welcome. I would tell you to stop the tests and enjoy it but as I did a test every day to 7 weeks (yes I'm insane) I won't as that is a bit hypocritical!

For the last two days I felt a lot more at ease. I'm still aware of the possibility it will not stick but very hopeful. I am 5 weeks today and I have just used my last IC the line was visible after 10 seconds. The tests are slowly but surely getting darker each day when I compare the 5 minute results.

I have everything crossed for us all.

I thought I'd upload one more pic in case anyone finds this thread and seeks some reassurance. These results are my progression from 17dpo to 21dpo. They are all taken 5 minutes after I dip as recommended to eliminate the fading as they dry. The second photo shows how they fade after drying. They do fade a lot after 12 hours so please don't worry if this happens to you x

Sorry, I just had to share. Yesterday at 5weeks and 6 days I had enough courage to use my Clear Blue digi test. I was still nervous (especially as I had been up to go to the loo mid way through the night) but I got my first 3+ EVER!!!!!
This is staring to feel so much more real now

I hope everyone else is doing well x

Your tests are definitely looking good! Congratulations x

With my daughter i was due on period on Christmas Eve. I took test after test with no results. It was only on 28th of Dec that i had a very faint line on a cheap stick.

This time round i tested 6 days before period was due and got a definite line. Now 31 weeks with a healthy pregnancy x
