Dettol Bath Asap...answers

I'm just about to run my bath ... well in half an hour after seeing what you think. Ive searched online and it looks safe to bath in dettol when pregnant, what do you think?

I don't know honey. But why would you bath in dettol? It smells horrible!

I LOVE the smell of Dettol I had a dettol bath once after falling in nettles, was COVERED in cuts, scrapes and stings, the dettol really took the edge off xx

PS: I think she means the neat disinfectant, the stuff you dilute, not the spray xx The undiluted stuff smells SO much nicer than the spray xx

lol Three posts in a row, but some ladies have dettol baths after birth, especially if they've had stitches xx

oh no not the proper disinfectant...it actually says for personal use and it is meant to be very hygienic, yeah it helps you heal after labour too i will be using it then bath is running now...can't wait to feel fresh, feel awful latley and always feel better after a bath x

ive never heard of any1 bathing in it before. I clean everything with dettol so id pass on a bath of the stuff prefer some radox myselfe. enjoy ur bath xxx

Mine wasen't the proper stuff just an antiseptic disinfectant...love a radox too xxx

I actually just love any bath but always make the mistake of making it to hot and come out to hot feelling sick and grumpy lol its so nice at the time tho. I always listen to music

I thought you had just cleaned the bath with dettol and wanted to know if it's safe! (don't ask why you'd clean your bath with it) I'm glad I read the thread now! I've never heard of having a dettol bath, might have to try it!

Yeah just make sure its the right dettol lol. I'd never heard of it until the other day...only managed to soak for 10 mins coz my tea was gonna burn lol but i still feel really refreshed x

Oh and it says on the bottle...strong enough for household use but gentle enough for skin and personal use or something like this x

I like my bath to smell of almond or rose. And I like it to have almond oil in to keep my skin soft. And the towel has to be fluffy and warm! I am fussy bout my bath! Lol!
