Following on from tillzy's paint thread......I have spent hours looking at nursery fabrics today (am making my own stuff cos it's cheaper and unique fx lol) and I cannot for the life of me decide what I want.

I can normally decide pretty much straight away, dunno maybe it's cos it's so important to get right, but I am having a majorly hard time deciding anything too

Anyone else can't make up their mind about stuff? xxxxxxxxx

Me!!! I couldn't decide what theme to have so we r just having blue! Lol!

We got all our stuff neutral cos we snapped it up in a sale. Its all chocolate and beige but it has a beige and chocolate panda on so I had to have it cos I am panda mad. This baby will love both pandas and elvis presley if it kills me!! If I could have found a elvis baby set I would have got that. lol

I am making my own stuff too, but it's extra hard as we are team yellow, but I really don't want it turning into a beige baby!! We have pale beige walls but I've found some colourful fabric in Ikea that could be for a boy or girl. We are going to wait until baby arrives and add things like a blackout blind in either red or blue depending on what pops out!!!

Oooh im so indesisive at moment. Hubby is buying me a sewing machine for xmas so im hoping to make some bits for baby but not sure what... Also thinking of trying to start knitting and if im any good i will make baby some clothes but i reckon i will be rubbish lol.

we're going with winnie the pooh, cos im a bit of a disney addict, and we were supposed to be staying yellow, but i caved.

however, im now trying to think of ways to "girlify" winnie a wee bit - cos the room is painted white, and the border is mostly blue ( its a sky background with the charachters on it) - only girliie bit i can think of is extra piglet motifs, but i really prefer eeyore. lol
xxx

Its all too much for me lol But I think making your own stuff is lovely. If I had and skills regarding textiles, knitting etc I would do the same!

I liked white with bright colours eg red , bright blue, green, yellow Turqouise , in stripes , blocks etc, In the end I got given beige stuff for free , so went with that, but it was boring.... Go with what makes you feel good, it has to last. Or go with white , as blue and pink can be added after , as once they have arrived and you know the gender , you just won't want beige!!

Now he has discovered a liking for Thomas, so may go with that in a few months when I get him a duvet
