Am I only the one who wants baby's gender to be a surprise? Haha!

I decided to measure the circumference of my tummy on Saturday and it was 84cm. Thought it looked bigger on Tuesday so measured again and it had gone up by 1.5cm! Both measurements were taken pre-breakfast.
I had hoped to not have to tell everyone at work before my scan in mid-July but I now think I'll definitely have a bump by then. My friends who know have said they can tell but I do wonder if that's because they know!
How is everyone feeling now? I think my tri 1 tiredness has eased much.

Am I only the one who wants baby's gender to be a surprise? Haha!

I decided to measure the circumference of my tummy on Saturday and it was 84cm. Thought it looked bigger on Tuesday so measured again and it had gone up by 1.5cm! Both measurements were taken pre-breakfast.
I had hoped to not have to tell everyone at work before my scan in mid-July but I now think I'll definitely have a bump by then. My friends who know have said they can tell but I do wonder if that's because they know!
How is everyone feeling now? I think my tri 1 tiredness has eased much.

Ahh, I am still on the fence with whether to keep it a secret or not. But I think you're right, most of the group are finding out!

I told work this week (was dreading it), mainly because as soon as they know, you are legally protected, secondly because I was struggling to fit into my work suits! Do you wear a uniform or are you able to wear loose things? I guess it depends on how long you can get away with it, but remember the sooner you tell them the better in terms of HR protection against discrimination/dismissal etc xx

I definitely am going to keep the sex a secret.. I don’t want to know at all!!

I’ve got a bloated belly.. I don’t think it looks like a baby belly at all. Just looks like I’ve eaten way to many carbs!!

We won’t be finding out the sex. I like a surprise. With my son, right from the start I knew we were having a boy without ever having it confirmed. I have a slight feeling this time could be a girl but not as certain as I was with my son.

I've told my manager and line report and some friends at work but I didn't want EVERYONE to know just yet. I'm in an office environment but it's a pretty relaxed dress code. I've now decided to just wear what I want and if it starts to look obvious I'll start to tell more people I guess. I can't keep going through several outfit changes before work, and I don't want to buy maternity clothes until I have a real need for them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I had a dream a long while ago that I had two small boys so if I had to place a bet I would go with boy...but can't wait for the revelation when baby arrives!

We're undecided about finding out the sex. I initially said no but my husband is getting to choose the name this time and it might take a while so he decided maybe we should find out. They won't tell us the sex here so unless they show me at 1 of my growth scans then we'll probably not find out. Not sure i want the hassle of travelling away to get a private scan.

I've always known myself in my heart what sex babies I was having and didn't find out with the 1st 3. I wasn't surprised when they were born. With my 2 girls I also had a feeling but found out with them. This time I am leaning more towards boy but think it's a bit early yet, I could change my mind towards girl.

I'm going to find out I have a feeling its a boy but have had two dreams where its been a girl so who knows! I have a noticeable bump now and my veins are really bright on either side of the bump its a bit odd to see. Going to get my boobs measured soon as bras getting tight

No scan yet. It might take a while still. I have had a rough time. My sickness got worse and I had a couple of weeks of constant vomiting without eating or drinking. (I was on an iv). Finally the sickness stopped Sunday and I am eating again but I have developed some neurological problems from the lack of nutrition and it has caused some paralysis. It is slowly improving but I can't walk and need help to move.

On a positive note the MW came Thursday and we heard a good strong heart beat from bubs. He even kicked the doppler!
