Dawn gets a baby

No one watching?

The births are fab! Made me cry  :)

made me cry too minxy!
good programme i like Dawn Porter-god knows how she'd cope if she was pregnant though..lol

that programme also showed me just how calm i was in labour- i was talking calmly and stuff even when i was pushing not like that woman shouting "i want something for the pain" and i thought i could'nt deal with pain..i'm rather proud of myself :)

I did think that first bird was a bit of a drama queen

I thought it was a great programme but my DH went green!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Think he maybe going off the idea of ttc......

oooh, just repleid to another thread about this in one of the tri's

I watched it too.... she is a strange girl tho, she did a programme that she tried out lesbianism the other week.

I watched it and thought it was really good (I wouldn't have liked it before I gave birth though!)

I thought Dawn was really funny! I've seen a few of her documentry's lately and they are really good :D

When she was talking about pain relief
'pethidene and a spinal injection..............thats not fooking about'

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Its bound to be repeated, BBC three do nothing but repeat things over and over again.

I watched it while i was laying in bed, i think i was more like the drama queen lol.

Ah yeah its on again on Monday at 10.30pm

Also on tonight/tomorrow at 3am but no matter how good it was i aint stopping up that long lol.

Think i'll set the planner to record it

I am WAY too chicken to watch anything with a birth in!!! At the moment I am going from pregnancy to holding the baby. The bit in between I'm like this :talkhand: with my fingers in my ears going "Lalalalala lala" I feel sick & scared everytime I consider how this baby has to come out. In fact, I want to make like a bear and have Baba slip out while I'm sleeping. I'm having none of this 48 hour malarky!! :shakehead:

OH hon don't be scared but I do understand... yo'll be fine!

aww i like dawn she reminds me of myself before-baby! i had the exact same reaction as her when i first watched a birth video (running away from the screen flapping hands and cringeing)! except it was worse for me coz i was already pregnant! aww bless her.
that natural birthing woman was helpful about how to do proper pelvic floors i didnt close my bum bones when i did them! but i dont believe for a second u can hav an orgasm in labour tho- LOL no way!
tadpole, i felt like that too while i was preg up until late third tri- dont worry by then youll be so ready for it and not scared anymore

Oo just finishing watching really good this was, very scary at first but the second birth i did cry after how amazing...

I guess maybe if it wasnt as painful would we still sppreciate the experience as much??

The first girl wore some really nice dressed in it!!

x

I just watched it - it was so good!

I'm really grateful to those woman for letting their births be filmed. I wouldn't have let them! But it was reassuring (if a bit scary) to see their births.

I cried at the second birth - the woman was so sweet!

i loved it, although i found dawn herself a bit annoying...gonna make DH watch it
