Date with the midwife ;)

Actually can't wait for the first appointment with my midwife on the 24th July. And a little nervous as I have put weight on since the last time I saw her. I'm trying my best to lose weight safely this pregnancy. Does anyone remember with the midwife does a test just to check? Xx

Takes bloods. Checks urine and tests for if you smoke x

Ohhh congrats twinkle, nice to see you back in trimesters. So many of us 2013 lot are having babies/pregnant again this year it feels like a bit of a reunion! Hope it all goes well lovely xx

Hey! Congrats.
At my booking in appointment it was just blood pressure, bloods taken and carbon monoxide (is that the right name lol the cigarette one!?) test. In my area, Glasgow Scotland, no one tests to ensure you are pregnant, I was told at previous pregnancy the shop bought tests are just as accurate as their tests xx

Im also in glasgow At my booking in appointment they weighed me and took my height but had no record of my prev weight in my prev pregnancy they took blood pressure, bloods taken and carbon monoxide test. xx

Yeah Midwife said home test kits are just as accurate so as I told them I had 2 positive readings at home they never tested again, just what's noted above.
