Dark brown spotting 6dpo, is this normal?

Just wondered if anyone else has had similar?
I noticed both yesterday and today when I've been to the toilet and wiped that I've had dark brown cm on the tissue, it's not heavy enough to class as my usual period but enough to know it's there.
I usually get relatively similar symptoms each month, sore boobs, heavy backache on/around day of ov then a full on backache the day before/day of af.
Ive had cramps since around ov day and have had a backache that's come and gone every day since ov. Ive also had really bad trapped wind/gas every day since ov too.
Really hoping this isn't af showing early as she's not due for another week!

I really hope so but I've no idea what's going on, it's very dark brown and still lingering today. Isn't heavy at all, just there when I wipe or the occasional drop (about a 10p piece size) on a pad which I've had once when I was out walking this morning. After much reading though I think it's a bit too much in quantity to be implantation as I read ib is normally only a few droplets for a day or two tops? This is day 3 for me.
I've no idea what to expect, just hate the wait. AF is due on Sunday so gotta have the dreaded wait

Im 6dpo, im having pale pink spotting or pale pink cvm.
Am desperately hoping its implantation as that's what the experts say....
Not really noticed it before but now im looking for it I've found it haha

I think I'm just gonna wait and see if af shows, I still have the dark brown spotting, when I wiped a moment ago there was a little tiny dark brown clot so I don't think my chances are that good.
It's weird, I keep thinking it's gone and dried up but now and again when I pop to the loo it's there again. So frustrating

*an update on my spotting, it has been very scant since Saturday but just now I felt the need to run to the loo and upon wiping it now seems to have gone from dark brown to dark brown/red colour so I guess it must be the start of af she wasn't due for another five days and I've never had spotting in between periods before. So fed up of how cruel and messed up our bodies can be

*and now just this short time later it seems dark brown again - I think I'm broken! I feel so hormonal and irritable, doctors tomorrow as this is totally out of the blue for me, I'm always like clockwork with af.

Hey, don't feel so certain just yet!! If you're only like 9dpo now then there's still time! 9dpo is early! If you never ever spot in between periods then that's a good sign that you are now!! I've never ever spotted in between periods in my whole life, but when I did the month I fell pregnant, it was an implantation bleed. You could be implanting! Try not to feel too negative just yet, wait to see if AF arrives! I'd suggest doing a test at around 12dpo - that's when I got my BFP but everyone is different xx

I've been trying not to get my hopes up as I have done so many times in the past, the only thing that made me have a scrap of positivity was the spotting starting at 6dpo. It just seems a little too much to be classed as implantation though, it's been quite inconsistent, to start it was barely there, then there'd be the odd bit when I wiped and then it was more of a trickle when I popped to the loo a short while ago which made me think oh crap this is af. Most the implantation things I've read have been from ladies who said they only had a tiny amount so it's made me really pessimistic.
I'm definitely having a glass of wine if af does show early, this months the worst for trickery if so! X

You've got to bare in mind everyone is different! A lot of women don't even experience implantation bleeding whereas some do and it's a pink discharge, some have a brown discharge and some have slight red bleeding.

You said you've never spotted in between periods before, so to me the fact you are now is a good sign... Easier said than done but try to lift your spirits up! Xx

It has died down again for now, which makes me wonder what the hells going on, normally with af it comes and it's there to stay for a good few days, with 1 being the worst. *must stay positive lol*

Nope, nothing as of yet. I had some back cramps last night and thought af was gonna show due to the increase in spotting so put a pad on before bed and woke to nothing. The spotting also died down after that one episode of a fair bit coming out in the afternoon.
First morning pee and nothing when wiping, then went again and a slight bit of that same dark brown discharge, I think I've got OCD with wiping and checking every 15 mins for fear of af lol.
Af is due Sunday/Monday so only time will tell. I honestly don't think I can test as I don't want to get my hopes up and see a bfn staring back at me

Try not to test yet if you can help it hun. It's still too early to test. You need to test at around 12dpo - that's the best time. Take a test when you're due on and see what happens! FX AF doesn't show for you please let us know how you get on xx

I think it's game over for me, I started off dry today and just now when I was out I passed enough dark brown blood to soak into my panty liner, it has some little dark brown/black blood clots in it too.
I think this is either a chemical pregnancy or one messed up period

Just another update for anyone who has been following this post or who has had similar symptoms - I've not had my period yet. It was due yday and so far nothing. Boobs have been tender on and off but weirdly no way near as bad as my usual soreness each cycle.
I keep worrying each time I go to the loo it's going to be there but nothing as of yet. Too scared to do a test and see a bfn
