Cystitis! :(

Hey ladies!

Just got back from my little break to France!!

Hoping someone can help me out...I have suffered from Cystitis since I was about 4 years old! And was worried about getting it whilst pregnant, as usually I just take sachets of Cynamol or similar and it clears up, but don't think I'm can whilst baby is in there!

Anyway, I only bloomin got it the first day we were away!! Went down to the pharmacy with my Mum and Nan and the guy there said he could not give me the usual sachets but would give me some that are ok to take whilst pregnant but only sooth it rather than clear it (cost a fortune too!) but I'm nearly out of those and wondered if anyone had any suggestions?!! Pretty please!! xx

Perhaps your local pharmacy could suggest something, other then that doesn't cranberry juice help?

Cranberry juice is ment to help clear it up, its worth a try before you go spending another fortune.

Hope it clears up soon hun.

Yeah will be giving the cranberry a shot. The stuff I have has worked really well, one sachet in morn and one at night and it held off the sting for the daytime but defo hasn't cleared it.

Have MW appointment on Monday so may pop in to see the doctor at the same time if it hasn't cleared and see what he says.

I'd go see your GP. I am sure they can give you something to help clear it up.

yep GP will give you antibiotics and send some wee off to make sure its nothing ominous...oh and ask for thrush treatment on the same script as the anit-biotics tend to give you that

Just thought I would update this incase someone else has this problem.

I visited my docs yesterday, and he said I am fine taking my usual Cynamol sachets. He did ask how many weeks I was first, so you may still need to check with your doc first.
