Have any of you ladies suffered with cystitus and been pregnant.. I've just found out that you can't take any of those powdered drinks to help neutrilise it
Do you think I should go to the doctors with it?

I probs would do yeah. I'd say drink cranberry juice but I think that's more for water infections in your kidneys and I don't know if it would help with that. Ring your docs for a bit of advice and drink plenty of water, may help flush it out. Xxx
i hiked over to my local walk in centre and they only have nurses on which is annoying. I've spoken to the pharmacist and they suggested water and cranberry but if it gets worse I need to see my dr so I might make an appointment for tomorrow if I can get in
That is a nuisance that there wasn't a doctor there to see you. I'd be drinking as much water as I possibly could in the mean time but I'd definitely try and get a doctors appointment. I don't live in the UK but where I am from an anti-biotic is always given to pregnant women with water infections, it's standard even if you aren't displaying symptoms.
Deffo go tO docs, I suffered with cystitis for 6 years, and had it bad while preggers last time but they can give u anti biotics to take while pregnant, wry important cos if it gets worse and spreads to your kidneys it's dangerous for baby
I had cystitus early on too - I went to my doctor who tested my urine and confirmed it was cystitus. It was so bad they prescribed antibiotics which were fine to take during pregnancy.
Cranberry juice is best though, drink loads of it and if it doesn't improve pop to your doctors and maybe they can prescribe something.
Hey girls
I ended up going to the walk in centre in my local town to be seen by a nurse there last night, She tested my wee and there is no sign of infection or cystitis so she told me to drink more and to stop using my progesterone pessaries and start using them the other way boo hiss
Up to now its not been as stingey this morning so hopefully thats cleared it up
