Cycle after a cp

Hi all, this month I had a cp I think 4-5 weeks as I was 7 days late when I tested but I’m not sure when I ovulated. My question is, I had 3 days of very light bleeding/spotting and then a bfn. Not enough to fill a pantyliner. This appears to have now stopped. For my next cycle do I treat the first day of spotting as cd1 or do I hold out and see if I get a heavier, more period like bleed? Sorry for tmi!

Hi, so sorry to hear about it loss. It's heartbreaking. I had one in May last year so would have been due in a couple of days time
With mine I had a light enough bleed and then couple of weeks later when I normally should've been ovulating I had what seemed more like a normal period. I counted first day of that bleed as cd1 and it all settled back into normal routine from then.

Thanks Babby, it is heartbreaking but I almost don’t feel like I’m allowed to be upset because it was so early, when there are women suffering from mc much later in pregnancy. My sister, who has also suffered cp, has reassured me I’m allowed to be upset, but I still feel guilty about it.

I’ll wait and see for cd1 then.
