heyy alll....i noo its a bit early but if ya dnt mind me asking .....
who breastfeeding and whos not??
im not sure there are dwn sides to both
i noo breast is best and all tht and i wud love to try it but im soooo unsure

cheers :)
and sorry if this has been posted before i cnt find it xx

I breast fed all three of mine so will be doing it again.
With first two it went well and lasted 9 months each, with charlie my milk dried up after 6 weeks and we did try but he ended up getting v poorly so we switched to bottles.
It doesn't work all the time but I always think that if you try it and don't like it then fine, but if you decide not to even try you have to remember that you can't change your mind a couple of months down the line. Thats how I have always looked at it anyway :D

i breast fed all of mine even though it was only a short amount of time (longest was 3 months) but i tried and didnt feel guilty when i stopped because i know i done my best.
im going to try again this time but if it don't work out then at least i know ive tried again :)

Im definitely going to breastfeed if I can.......Im not even buying bottles, or formula before he is born!

Im going to breastfed, probably only for a couple of months though. Im not even buying bottles or formula (might have a couple of dummies and a steriliser though-Im no martyr lol)

I bottle fed my DS and DD but, this time i intend to breastfeed as it's my last and i would like to give it a go. :)

I plan to breastfeed, for me due to the financial and health benefits
Hwvere, if we find it really difficult Im not gonna beat myself up if I have to bottlefeed, but do really want to breast feed

I breast fed all of mine and fully intend to do so this time too.

What I would advise larisa is take your time now to decide what you want to do and if you decide you don't want to brestfeed then don't take any c**p from anyone it is your body and your baby. If you give it a go but for whatever reason decide to stop then the same applies you may well get comments from family friends and strangers but the best thing for your baby is a happy mummy don't let anyone make you feel guilty

I hope to breastfeed i tried with my son but he was lazy and never took to it so i hope to be able to this time.

I plan to breastfeed for a few days and then switch to bottles, just to give the baby the colostrum, I really didn't enjoy it with Darragh and I persevered for 5 weeks but for me it was really really tough

I'm gonna try and breast feed but with Tom I only managed it for a day before they told me he couldn't retain his sugar levels so it was either a bottle or a drip in SCBU... Hmm, guess which I chose

I'll be breastfeeding.

I just hope it goes ok and I manage as well as I did with Brody! I fed him until he self weaned at 19 months when I was 15 weeks pregnant with this one :D

I'm going to breastfeed again. I loved it, and it is one of the things I'm really looking forward too. Once I got the hand of it, I found it really easy. I also used to express, so that DH could do the weekend night feeds.
I went into it with an open mind, I just said to myself I would try and if it worked out, Great, and if not at least I tried. Some people say they are diffinatly going to do it, and feel guilty and disheartened if for what ever reason it dosen't work out. I had bottles and formular in the cupboard, ready encase it didn't work out with DD and will do the same this time round, because you never know what will happen.

I am going to try and breastfeed :o) Although my boobs are really leaking now, hopefully my milk doesnt run out :o( xx

yess this is also a worry 4 me because when my mam had my brother 2 years ago she tryed breastfeeding but my bro was having none of it and the nurses kept telling her not to give up and keep trying and my mam was absolutly shattered after jst giving birth and everytime she went sleep the nurses wud wake her pestering her telling her she cnt jst give up and it kind of made her feel useless and down because he wud'nt take of her breast .and she bottle fed him in the end.
she's had 4 kids and only tried with my brother b-cuz she new he was going to b her last ,,,and she said she wishes she never said she wud try breastfeeding. but she told me i shud try it and make my own mind up if i want but im still unsure xx

I breastfed my Daughter and intend to do so with this one aswell.

I agree with Mik though, if you do try it and for whatever reason can't continue with it, don't beat yourself up over it! It's better for the baby to have a happy, less stressed out mummy!
