When does this stop, Noah is one now but still normally wakes at least twice a night crying. I only need to go in and tuck him in and give him a dummy and he goes straight back down, but its still a strain keep gettin woken in the night. I dont know why he does it. He normally goes to sleep fine without a dummy, so I know its not cause he is dependant on that, its like he is having nightmares or something?!?!

Braydon does the same thing but normally needs a bottle and drinks a full 9 oz

I read this just after my son had cried out!!!! He is one soon too and often wakes crying but then resettles and goes back to sleep within a min or so. (unless teething or ill or our one incident of 'night terror'!!)

It isnt that often I need to go into him - I can only think that he wakes as he comes out of a sleep cycle and cant get off straight away again. It could be nightmares I suppose or just that he wants to be reassured you are there etc.

Sorry I cant be of more help - I hope it gets better soon. :)

Zacks still does it now and hes nearly 3. I think its because he just likes ot check that im still here. I go in and rub his back or stroke his head. Hes nearly always asleep when I go in after hes called out.

aye sophie still does it and shes 2, but i kinda reckon she wakes more atm cos of alastiar crying, but i only ever have to go and put her dummy in.
