When did your baby learn to crawl?
Oliver is 10 months old now and he can't.
He is able to pull himself around with his arms, but he doesn't get into a crawling position.
I have a follow up with the health visitor as he is 'behind' in a few areas, ie crawling, sat up late, doesn't pick up tiny things with a pincer grip but with all his fingers, and he doesn't support his weight on his legs when he is held around the hips.
I'm not really worried yet, but I'd to know if he really is behind with these things in the big scheme of things, or if the health visitor is jumping the gun a little.
She says if he hasn't made progress in the month, he'll have to be referred to the consultant clinic for an 'indepth' assessment. Which I'd rather not have unless it really is necessary!
