Crawling yet or showing any interest in it.

He loves his walker and loves to walk with us holding on to his hands but he just wont crawl.

Is there anything I can do to help him along. xxx

DD didn't crawl til just before 10 months, I wouldn't worry at all! Just enjoy the tidy house!

Valentine Xxx

Summer was about 9 and a half months when she started crawling.
She didn't show any signs that she was going to start crawling either she just sort of took off.

:shhh: What valentine said :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lil miss isn't interesting in crawling really. She's taken a few crawl steps today and yesterday, but she much prefers to chat and practice her words, wander around in her walker... :)

Dylan was around 10 months when he started crawling too - he would prefer to pull himself up and cruise round the furniture. He still doesn't crawl 'properly', he keeps his right leg tucked under his bum and pulls himself along, but he gets to where he wants to go, and does it pretty fast too. Don't worry - there's not a 'right age' for them to be crawling x

Alex is 13 months and can't crawl at all. He's very fast at bum shuffling though. However it was only when he was around 10 months that he started bum shuffling. He can't stand up either or walk.

Lydia crawled properly from around 8 months, plus she pulled herself to standing at 8 months, cruised at 10 months, and was walking independently at 12.5 months.

All babies are different.

my sons only 3ish weeks younger than yours and he cant even get in a crawl position yet. he can lift himself up with his arms totally stretched out and straight but cant tuck his legs up yet. I was a bum shuffler and didnt walk until i was two! his father went straight to cruising at 7 months and walked by 9 months so i'll have to wait and see! like someone else mention im enjoying him staying in one place for as long as i can!

They all do things at different paces... I wouldnt worry at all.. enjoy putting him down and him staying in one place while it lasts.. when he does start to crawl, you'll be wishing he couldnt!!! :D

Thanks girls.

Just got a bit worried as DS has play dates with babies around the same age and they all crawl.

I was kind on hoping that he would follow suit. xxx
