all i can think about is having a lovely prawn cocktail.

is it really that bad to have it. my sister had prawns the whole way through her pregnancy as she craved them aswell.

i dont know whether it is worse cos i know i shouldnt have them. also taken a liking to tuna and cucumber sandwichs.

damn these midwives for telling us what we cant have. ive wanted all of it. with christmas round the corner i have no idea how im going to resist pate.

anyone know whether we can have a little bit just to take the urge away.

xxx

You can eat prawns as long as they're fully cooked.

My midwife told me prawns were fine, like helen said, as long as they were cooked properly. Tuna is also fine, but i was told not to exceed 4 tins a week!Get your prawn cocktail woman :) xxx

the thing is most places you go they are raw. gonna have to buy some and make my own. xx

The pink frozen ready to eat prawns you buy in tesco to use for prawn cocktails are fine as they already been cooked thats why they are pink!

oh cool. thanks all. so excited now. can't wait to be able to leave the house and go get some. lol.

anyone know the situation with pate?

xxx

Pate is a definate no go hun (im proper gutted i cant have it at crimbo) due to the risk of listeriosis, even if the risk is tiny xxx
