Does anyone know if there are "Crash Course" birthing classes?

Both my midwife and family nurse have failed to produce and when asked about it, they just said "Oh I didnt set you up with classes because I thought the other one was doing it!" :wall2:

NCT do intensive courses over a weekend or so but you have to pay for them. Your bunch sound very organised!

Oh blimey, Kat, that was nice of them! They must have one running at the mo you can join for a week or two!

I had to set my own up (NHS) ones I was given a letter with the details on it, had to go on the website and then they rang me as they said I couldn't start them at 28 weeks I had to wait till 33 weeks I was like great...

But my local midwife isn't that great either but I see the hospital ones every couple of weeks or so. So I'm happy with that x

Might be worth getting in touch with a local doula. Some offer private birth preparation classes and they'd come to you. Not as expensive as NCT and possibly easier to arrange quickly. You dont need to be using a birth doula to book them for classes

ETA - if you PM me your town/post code I can find out who's close to you that's a member of Doula UK or The Doula Directory.
