Hey Ladies,

Jessica has got cradle cap, which got quite bad.
I have now been prescribed Capasal to wash her hair with, has anyone used this at all?

PS - if ANYONE tells u to use Almond Oil for Cradle Cap, DON'T... can have an adverse reaction and almost burns baby's head

I never got prescribed anything. I was told to use olive oil. But my sister gave me Boots cream and it worked wonders.

i got a shampoo from boots for thomas has almost cleared it up with only 2 goes
good luck with what youve got hun
xx

I used Calendula lotion to start with and then my Lansinoh nipple cream, that cleared it up overnight. Never had any use for it so good job I found something to use it on

Loads of people use olive oil for cradle cap. I've never heard of using almond oil tbh. Sorry it hurt your LO.

lansinoh? Excellent, I've got a tube of that too, and a Sprog with bad cradle cap.

I was told to use vaseline or grapeseed oil.

Think I might give the Lansinoh a go too.

Ladies at my breastfeeding group swear by using Lansinoh on anything they call it a wonder cream!!!

DD has dry skin so we put a capful of this:

in her bath and her skin is lovely and doesn't flake.
My friend's DD had cradle cap on her head, forehead and eyebrows. She tried this oil and there was a huge difference - in just a couple of days it was barely noticeable! They massaged it in to her as well as putting it in the bath. They said olive oil made her look like an oil slick but this stuff is absorbed more so she didn't look greasy.

I just used that dentinox shampoo took about 3 weeks but it cleared it up.
