As post of u girls know we've jus had first round of ivf which unfortunately didn't work.
So we have been offered counselling iv said no but clinic as said if I change my mind don't hesitate to phone back.
Have any of u girls had counselling afterwards? Did it help?
Don't know if to phone them back or just muddle through I am getting there tbh but just wondering if it helps at all xx

I'd take the counselling Hun. We have been offered it multiple times, but it know I'll need it if this iui doesn't work.

I've found it helpful to speak to people who understand but don't see you/ speak to you on a daily basis. You feel like a cloud has been lifted if only for a while and your perspective on things changes.

Have a think Hun, but it sure as hell won't do any harm.

Sending you massive hugs  xxxxx

Hi,
I was offered it after our failed cycle in July but I didn't take it. I remember the waiting list being about 6 weeks at our clinic so you could always book a session and then if you feel like you need it you have the option.
X

I've been having it for family issues for a few years so TTC is quite relevant to discuss in the sessions and really helpful. I would recommend it to anyone just to discuss things that you can't say to other people. I don't know about counselling typical to IVF but would take it if I didn't already see somebody. Not sure my DH would want it though.

I have counselling whilst I'm ttc as I was turning into a monster and constantly in a bad mood. I really believe it's helped x
