I rang up the family planning clinic asking to make an appointment to get the implant put in, but first i have to have a conselling session.
Apparantly to make sure that it's the right choice for me... ive already told them ive looked at the options and i know its right for me.

its just soooo much hassle having to get the kids out to take them to that session. and i just turn up, there is no appointment time, so i could end up waiting ages if they are busy.

and then, i cant have it put in then, i have to make another appoinment to come back and actually have it put in....

its no wonder people end up getting pregnant whilst waiting to go on birth control is it.... :rotfl:

That is silly our sexual health clinic is over run and they ask you to research before you go to aviod a double appointment.

I was at ours on friday and a man rang up and asked if they did the male pill, the receptionist said 'no and you wouldnt take it properly if we did' and put the phone down on him, then announced to the clinic what he had asked for:shock:

Councelling  bloody hell.
When i had my six week check and said i wanted the implant the doc discussed it with me then she said i would have to book another appointment as i had to go get the presciption for it beforehand. Then i had to go around several chemists before i found one who had it in
