council house advise

So me and my boyfriend are looking to get a council house. he is in the army, he lives away and will only be home the odd weekend and i work part time. i'm 22 weeks pregnant atm. Ive signed up for a scheme called choose a home hoping to get a council house and ive put both of our names on it (which im unsure if it would have to have him aswel? as he wouldnt 'live' there he lives at camp) ...and we have to go to a workshop before we can start bidding on houses together which tell you how to pay the rent etc and because both of our names are down we'd both have to go, they only do monday-friday which cannot be done by him! really unsure what to do....

1. do i need to have him down as living with me?
2. do you think the council would be understanding about him not being at the workshop if he is on the application?
3. how much roughly would i be loooking at paying monthly for a 2 bed council house?

I have housing association hun and ours is 87 a week for 2 bed.house x

We are housing association 2 bed and we would pay £75 a week but we qualify for housing benefit x

It wouldnt put him down as living with me as by how often you said he is going to be there I wouldn't class that as living together. When he eventually moves in properly you can add him to your thing. And it depend what area you live in I'm west London and here it ranges any were from 100 to 200 a week

With him being in the army, would you be entitled to an army house at all? Or would that mean moving nearer to where he works?
